This three-week course gives you the opportunity to work with experienced industry professionals to create and shoot a short film on location and in the studio. The project includes skills classes in camera technique, text analysis, and acting for the camera. The project takes place in our studios in Belfast and on location. Previous Films have included ‘The Seagull’ by Anton Chekhov and scenes from Film Noir Classics like Strangers on A Train.

Short Film Project for those who wish to gain experience on screen. The course is open to all levels of actors. The course runs 9 - 5 pm, Monday to Thursday and is lead by Jo Dow.

An essential guide to the hurdles of the modern casting portal - Each participant will have the opportunity to get feedback on their self-tapes from experienced professional acting and TV tutors from Belfast Screen Acting. With expert help on your casting possibilities, and guidance on how to come out on top when submitting for that next role! We provide individual coaching and advice on the material. For industry professionals to actors starting out in industry. Runs 9 - 5 pm.

Belfast Screen Acting is offering an intensive 1 year Screen- Acting and which will provide you with an excellent intensive practical and intellectual, vocational training. .

The course is experiential, project-based and taught by experienced tutors and industry professionals. In person through; taught classes, rehearsals, projects, and masterclasses, practice sessions, and professional talks. The course is managed and led by a Course Leader at Belfast Screen Acting and a local staff team. You will have support and feedback through our Personal Tutor System and full access to Belfast Screen Acting Services, IT, Learning Resource Centre, and Study Support Teams.
