  • Mobile Phone

You could either purchase a roaming SIM card that works in multiple countries such as World Sim (www.worldsim.com/roaming-sim/) or you can purchase a UK SIM card.

A UK SIM card comes in two formats: pay as you go or pay monthly.

Note: You will need to ensure that your mobile phone is unlocked to use on any network.

    Pay As You Go

The pay as you go option is the most suitable for short term use. Most providers will give you the SIM card for free if you top up at the same time. You can purchase SIM cards in lots of place such as Carphone Warehouse, Tesco, Asda and Poundland.

The network Three (3) offers some of the best pay as you go deals in the form of an add on; More information can be found at: www.three.co.uk

    Pay Monthly

This is a fixed contract where you pay a set amount each month. These contracts are normally for 12 months or longer. It can be difficult to get a phone contract if you have no credit history in the UK. We would recommend speaking to a customer service advisor in store if you wanted to try this option.
